Method of Drawing in 3D
An Invented Structure of Freedom and Strength
This sculpture introduces a new system of connecting points in space — one that eliminates the typical constraints of traditional joints. Each element is free to be positioned anywhere, allowing the form to emerge organically. At the heart of this invention is a turnbuckle-based connection, which leverages the principle of tensegrity: strength through tension and compression working in harmony.
The result is more than just a sculptural framework. Point to Point is a method — a modular architecture — that opens possibilities for building in new ways. Its potential applications range from large-scale sculpture to humanitarian solutions: rapid-deploy shelters in disaster zones, or safer scaffolding systems that resist collapse by distributing force in a dynamic, synergistic web.
This is art as innovation — structure as idea — and freedom as a design principle.
